Leaders Minster Lovell slipped to their first defeat in OCA League Division 1 with a 41-run loss at home to Radley on Sunday.

They had defeated Stonesfield on Saturday by seven runs to maintain top spot, but found new boys Radley just too hot to handle 24 hours later.

Batting first at Minster, Radley posted 166-8 as Billy Webb top-scored with 36 and Eddie Dunn took 4-26.

Minster subsided to 125 all out in their reply.

At Stonesfield on Saturday, Dunn took 6-26 as Minster dismissed their hosts for 94.

Nathan Harris’s 37 was the only notable contribution in Minster’s 101 all out as Tom Gubbins took 6-22, but it proved enough as Stonesfield were shot out cheaply.

Charlbury beat Chadlington by 27 runs.

Nikolas Kirby top-scored with 33 in Charlbury’s 154 all out, and then Stuart Atkins (4-34) and Bimalka Liyanarachchi (3-30) combined to dismiss the visitors for 127.

Chipping Norton went top of Division 2 after cruising to an eight-wicket victory at East & West Hendred.

Matthew Molyneux took 5-16 from 12 overs to help dismiss the hosts for 147, before Mark Usher (58) and Ian Widdows (31no) led Chippy to 148-2.

Witney Swifts won a thriller at home to Wantage by 13 runs.

Alfie Saunders (39) and Kieran Foggett (30) led Swifts to 157 all out, Mike Konschel taking 4-36.

Left-arm spinner Graeme Woodward then starred with the ball, taking 5-47 as Wantage fell to 144 all out.

Hanborough saw off visitors Eynsham by three wickets in Division 3.

Dominic Coe’s 52 helped Eynsham to 144 all out, but an unbeaten half-century from Jack Buckingham (52no) steered Hanborough home at 149-7.

Duncan Macdonald and Darren Gordon shone for Kilkenny as they beat hosts Stanton Harcourt by 52 runs in Division 4.

Macdonald hit 93 in Kilkenny’s 191 all out, and then Gordon took 6-32 as Stanton were bowled out for 139.

Chris King led the way for Hailey with figures of 4-17 in his side’s 49-run win at home to Swinbrook.

Hailey posted 147 all out, before King took over to help dismiss the visitors for 98.

Meanwhile, Zak Jarvis took six wickets as Minster Lovell 2nd moved to second in Division 5 after a five-wicket win at home to West Witney.

Jarvis was the star, taking 6-24 as West were rolled over for 94, Minster reaching 95-5 in reply. Charlbury 2nd lost by 74 runs at leaders Sunningwell.

Robert Hussey (83no) and Thomas Harris (54) took Sunningwell to 206-6, and despite 48 from Dean Warner-Carter, the visitors subsided to 132 all out.

In Division 6, Chipping Norton 2nd went top after a thrilling one-wicket win at home to Bampton.

The visitors were bowled out for 143, youngster Danny Molyneux taking 3-31. Chippy edged in at 147-9, despite 6-43 from Russell King.

In Division 8, Witney Swifts 2nd hammered Chadlington 2nd by 158 runs.

Grant Madden hit 85 in the visitors’ 207 all out, before youngster Ed Priest took 5-13 as Chadlington were rolled over for just 49. Ducklington eased to a six-wicket win at Combe.

Julian Chaundy’s 4-4 saw Ducklington skittled for 54, Combe replying with 58-4.

Kilkenny moved to second in Division 9 with an eight-wicket win at home to Dorchester 2nd.

Dorchester were all out for 108, before Tom Clapham (47) saw Kilkenny home at 111-2.
