CHARLBURY stayed clear at the top of OCA League Division 1 as they edged past visitors Great Horwood by four wickets on Saturday.

Hasula Prematilaka took 3-21 and Jake Godfrey 3-33 as the visitors were all out for 125.

Ben Geeson-Brown then hit 41 not out to steer Charlbury to 131-6.

Minster Lovell eased to a 63-run victory at home to Shrivenham.

Minster racked up 272-9 as Connor Tinsley hit 54 and Eddie Dunn 40, before Shrivenham were restricted to 209-8 as Leigh Smith took 3-39.

Chipping Norton lost by 13 runs to hosts Yarnton & Cowley, who picked up their first win of the season.

Jim McGeown took 6-31 as Yarnton were dismissed for 78 batting first, but Muhammad Adil (4-10) and Majid Khan (3-26) combined to send Chippy crashing to 65 all out.

Stonesfield beat basement boys Oxenford by four wickets.

Liam Hatton claimed 3-29 as Stonesfield held their visitors to 191-9, and then Sean Holley hit 67 not out to steer Stonesfield to 192-6.

In Division 2, Chadlington lost by 129 runs at leaders Wolvercote.

Replying to the hosts’ 206-8, Chadlington were quickly struggling and tumbled to 77 all out.

Witney Swifts went down by six wickets at Wootton & Boars Hill in Division 2.

Despite Kieran Foggett’s unbeaten 72, Swifts were all out for 138, which proved well below par.

Kilkenny kept up the pressure on the leaders in Division 3, courtesy of a four-wicket win at Eynsham.

Sam Jones scored 50, but Eynsham could muster only 131 all out as Billy Carter, Darren Gordon and Chris King took three wickets apiece.

Gordon then hit 43 in Kilkenny’s reply as they reached 132-6.

Stanton Harcourt lost their basement battle with Marcham by three wickets.

Thomas Mooring was the star of the show for Marcham, taking 4-26 in Stanton’s 156 all out, before top-scoring with 55 as his side reached 157-7.

Hanborough saw off visitors Westcott by 92 runs.

Matt Gorman hit 36 and Rob Lovick 35 in Hanborough’s 191-9, before Westcott were shot out for 99 as Richard Brown claimed 3-10.

Risinghurst marched on at the top of Division 4 after seeing off visitors Minster Lovell 2nd by 68 runs in a match reduced to 30 overs a side.

Ramu Vellayappan scored 51 for Risinghurst in their 155-7, Sean Hubbert claiming 5-42 for Minster, who were then all out for just 87.

Bampton made it six wins from six in Division 5 as they edged past hosts Hook Norton by five runs.

Batting first, Bampton set 181-9, Edward Landray hitting 56.

Hooky fell just short as they were bowled out for 176, Julian Easterbrook taking 3-40.

Kennington moved up to third after a thumping 181-run win at home to Charlbury 2nd.

They racked up 241-9 as Ben Andre hit 46 and Graham Rowley 43.

Isaac Pullen then returned 3-13 for Kennington as the visitors were skittled out for 60.

West Witney saw off Chipping Norton 2nd by 65 runs in Division 5.

Saurabh Mehrotra hit 75 for visiting West Witney in their 187 all out, Danny Molyneux taking 4-32.

Mehrotra then claimed 5-14 as Chippy fell to 122 all out.

Jacob Hughes’s 6-33 helped Ducklington beat visitors Hanborough 2nd by nine wickets in a one-sided match in Division 7.

Hanborough were shot out for 51, before Ducklington raced to 52-1.

Minster Lovell 3rd saw off visitors Yarnton & Cowley 2nd by 34 runs.

Youngsters Felix Wright (39) and Dee Jarvis (30) helped Minster set 158-9 in their 45 overs, and then veterans Keith Wright (4-34) and Lyndsay Halliwell (3-34) skittled Yarnton out for 124.

Witney Swifts 2nd defeated Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd by 39 runs.

Dave Woodward scored 35 in Swifts’ 153 all out, and then Bob Godwin claimed 3-43 to help dismiss Wootton for 114.

Declan Wastie claimed 7-36 to extend Stanton Harcourt 2nd’s winning record to five wins out of five in Division 8.

Wastie’s haul helped to dismiss visitors Dorchester 2nd for 126, before Jake Souch’s 54 not out saw Stanton Harcourt to 128-5.

Chadlington 2nd defeated visitors Marcham 2nd by six wickets.

William Doar took 4-36 to help restrict Marcham to 149-7, and then Paul Duester (67no) led Chadlington to 150-4.

In Division 9, Swinbrook 2nd beat visitors Kennington 2nd by seven wickets in a low-scoring match.

Three wickets apiece for Ryan Dadge and Joe Parker skittled Kennington out for 48, Swinbrook losing three wickets en route to 49-3.
