Wasim Mehmood receives the cup from Peter Baxter
OXFORD Downs received their trophy for winning the Division 2 title at the Cherwell League’s presentation night at the Belfry Hotel, Milton Common.
Skipper Wasim Mehmood accepted the trophy from guest speaker Peter Baxter, the former produced on Test Match Special.
Downs return to the top flight next season.
Sam Barnes, of Great & Little Tew 3rd, won the 3rd, 4th & 5th XI batting prize with 537 runs but was not present to receive his award.
