FIVE WICKETS: Witney Swifts' young bowler Alfie Saunders took 5-47 to help his side to a three-wicket win over Minster Lovell

Teenager Alfie Saunders was the star of the show as Witney Swifts dealt local rivals Minster Lovell a major blow in their promotion bid in Division 2.

Saunders claimed 5-47 as Minster were bowled out for 233, Billy Carter hitting 66.

Andy Watson (62) and Mark Stayt (43) then saw Swifts to 237-7, which keeps alive their hopes of avoiding relegation.

Freeland thumped already-relegated Brill by 234 runs.

They had two centurions, with Les Hole (114) and Ian Harris (102) taking Freeland to a massive 281-2.

Brill were then shot out for only 47 in reply.

In Division 3, a half century from Umair Ghazali could not help Eynsham to victory at Broughton & North Newington.

Eynsham posted 205-8, but Stuart Morgan (85) and Andy Cross (71) saw Broughton to victory.

Stonesfield saw off Combe by three wickets.

Adam Lambert (4-39) and Chris Days (3-51) restricted Combe to 175 all out, then Phil Slatter's 72 helped Stonesfield to 176-7 in reply.

In Division 4, West Witney posted a rare victory to move out of the relegation zone.

They scored only 117 all out, but Martin Clutterbuck then took 4-28 as Deddington were shot out for 101.

Tom Geeson-Brown hit 79 to help title-chasing Charlbury to a 128-run win over Dorchester in Division 5.

Charlbury posted 224-5, Mark Grantham hitting 52. Dorchester were then blown away by Charlie Sinton, who took 6-47 as they crashed to 96 all out.

Hailey lost by 31 runs against Oxenford.

Dan King claimed 3-39, but Oxenford posted a useful 223-8.

Tahir Akram (87) got Hailey close, before they were bowled out for 192.

Chadlington were crowned Division 6 champions after a seven-wicket win over Steventon.

Stefan van Jaarsveld took 4-26 as Steventon were bowled out for 116, before Paul Duester junior hit 54 not out in Chadlington's 117-3.

Eynsham 2nd saw off Stanton Harcourt by 140 runs.

Paul Garret hit 55 in Eynsham's 243-7, then Amir Javeed claimed 4-44 as Stanton were bowled out for 103.

Stonesfield 2nd wrapped up the Division 8 title after a 119-run victory over Combe 2nd.

Steve Masters (84) and Ben Hayes (80no) helped Stonesfield to 220-3, then Combe were bowled out for 101, Robin Hanks taking 3-36.

Minster Lovell 3rd slipped closer to the relegation zone with a 131-run defeat at Kennington 2nd.

Chasing Kennington's 204-9, Minster were shot out for 73.

In Division 9, Dan Black took a hat-trick in figures of 4-26.

But he finished on the losing side as Uffington 2nd beat Witney Swifts 2nd by 57 runs.

HAILEY'S impressive league form counted for nothing as they were crushed by nine wickets against Dorchester in Sunday's much-delayed Steve Dixon Cup final at Westcott.

They were bowled out for 134, before Steve McComb followed up his three-wicket haul with an unbeaten 82 as Dorchester cruised home at 135-1.
