CRICKET: Charlbury welcome former Test star

Charlbury Cricket Club welcome former Zimbabwe Test cricket Henry Olonga for a charity evening in aid of their new pavilion appeal at St Mary's Church, Charlbury, on Saturday April 12 (8pm).

Olonga, who is also an accomplished singer, will perform a selection of pop and classical music and will talk about his life both on and off the cricket field.

There will also be a question and answer session, and drinks will be available.

Tickets are available at £10 for adults and £7 for under 18s and over 65s.

They can be picked up at News and Things, Charlbury Post Office, The Good Food Shop, Peter's Hairdressers, Cotswold Frames, Fiveways Londis and Evenlode Books, or from Malcolm Harper.
