 |
| IN FORM: Rob Garrett |
Rob Garrett was the star of the show as Charlbury sealed the Division 1 title of the Banbury Indoor League for the first time after a 23-run victory over Oxfordshire champions Sandford St Martin.
The west Oxfordshire side, who finished ten points clear of Banbury, have now won all three divisions.
Charlbury were dismissed for 111 in 9.2 overs with Rob Garrett top scoring on 34.
But Sandford were all out for 88 in 8.3 overs, only Neil Cox (30) providing resistance.
Great Tew finished their campaign with a two-wicket defeat against Banbury.
Shane Faulkner made an impressive 51 in Tew's 105 all out, but Luke Ryan (21no) steered Banbury to 106-4 with two balls to spare.
