FOOTBALL: Deadly Bronk hits a double hat-trick

Pawel Bronk scored six of the best as he helped Brize Norton thrash visitors Hanborough 8-0 in Witney & District FA Division 1.
Bronk’s goals were added to by Ciaran Clarke and Justine Summersgoals.
Mo Semlali was again on target with two as leaders Hailey Res enjoyed a 5-2 home win against FC Nomads.
John Andrews, Darryl Kew and Kristian Collis got the others with Chris Lawrence (2) hitting back.
Kai Merret notched a treble in Carterton Pumas’ 5-0 victory over visitors North Leigh A. Kev Rookes and Si Turner also found the net.
Phil Colmer struck twice from the spot in Bourton Rovers 4-0 win at Eynsham SSC. Joe Jarvis and David Gainford netted the others.
Frank Clarke and Matt Townsend were on target in Spartan Rangers’ 2-1 win at home to Freeland, for whom Rob Belcher responded.
Charlbury Town moved top of the Premier Division with a 5-1 home victory against Hailey, with a four-timer from Craig McCallum. Shaun Gilbert sealed it. Joey King replied for Hailey.
Carterton Town A eased to a 4-2 home win over Chadlington, with Jason Lonsdale (2), Lee Moseley and Chris MacNeil on target, with Martin Plumbridge netting for Chadlington.
Steve Brasier, Gary Nicholson and Matt Thompson were all on the mark for Witney Royals as they beat Aston 3-1 at home. Dan Long replied.
Marcelo Guitherme bagged four goals for Witney Wanderers as they thumped Division 2 leaders FC Hollybush 6-0. Bernie Crumlish was among the other marksmen.
Goals from Sam Bodinham and Adam Kelly earned Kirtlington a 2-1 win at Ducklington Res. Scott Mason scored for the hosts.
A goal either side of half time saw hosts Combe defeat FC Mills 2-1. Ethan Penney and Sam Hibberd were on target, with Matt Holloway replying.
Dean Hall (2), Jake Barker and Mo Hales scored in Carterton Rangers’ 4-0 win at AC Finstock.
Witney Royals Res are still without a point after they lost 4-2 to Milton.
The hosts scored through Mikey Piper and Richard Sims, but Martin Warwrzyniak (2), Pip Benfield and Rob James sealed the win.
Bampton United crushed Bourton Rovers Res 8-1 at home in Division 3, with goals from Steve Godfrey (2), Connor O’Shea (2) and Ben Liddle (2), John Shuker and Steve Ashley. Tony Thoms scored for the visitors.
Kingham Res beat visitors Brize Norton Res 2-1, with Shane Cooper and Liam Barnes on target. Scott Peaper scored for Brize.
Minster Lovell Res moved into second place with a 3-1 home win over Charlbury Town Res. David Souch, Nathan Bowles and Lewis Dewe netted, Dom Crisp replying.
A Charlie Bough strike was enough to secure a 1-0 victory for Wootton at home to Spartan Rangers Res.
Spartan Rangers A remain top of Division 4 after a 3-1 success over visitors Wootton Res, with goals from Andrew Sigsworth, Dexter Lancaster and Henry Macke. Greg Finnemore replied for Wootton.
Matt Gardener smashed in a four-timer in Aston Res’ 11-1 thrashing of Milton Res. Tom Dexter hit a treble with Matt Wood (2), Simon Isherwood and Ben Waldron also on target.
Shane Peedell’s strike earned Chadlington Res their first win of the season with a shock 1-0 success over Eynsham SSC Res.
Jamie Goodwin bagged a treble in Tower Hill’s 4-1 home win over Wychwood Forest.
Edd Dunn got their other on his debut with Tom Nickleson replying.
Meanwhile, Ducklington lost 3-0 at Heyford Athletic in the Oxford-shire FA John Fathers Junior Shield first-round.
Goals from Joe Burgess, Craig Johnson and Will Potter were in vain as Hanborough crashed 10-3 at Bletchingdon in the second round of the Oxfordshire Charity Cup.
