Declan O’Brien scored a hat-trick as Bampton Town Youth won 4-0 at home to Grendon Rangers in the Giles Sports Witney Youth League Under 10 Red League.

O'Brien bundled in the opener, before doubling their lead with a cool finish.

At the other end, keeper Jamie Hammond tipped over a fierce shot as the visitors tried to respond.

After the break, Tahir Alam curled in a fine third goal.

O’Brien then completed his treble with a terrific header from a corner.

Eynsham Youth won 4-1 at Banbury Irish in the White League.

The away side went ahead following a swift breakaway.

A quick throw out from keeper Shay Burton found Harry Harraway, who burst forward before firing home through the Banbury keeper’s legs.

Although Banbury clawed one back through Dan Baldwin, Eynsham restored their lead when Jacob Moir fired a Harraway pass in off a post.

Billy Buchanan then made it 3-1 when he slid in to convert another Harraway cross.

Eynsham wrapped it up after the break when a Harraway corner clipped the head of a Banbury defender before flying in.

Bampton Town Youth went down to a 3-1 defeat against Highfield Juniors in the Under 11 Green Lea-gue.

Played at Highfield as their pitch was unfit, Bampton took the lead 30 seconds into the second half when Simon Porter’s powerful free-kick flew into the net.

However, three unanswered long-range goals from Samuel Pearce, Tom Tyack and Matthew Innes completed the turnaround.
