West Witney moved into pole position in the Witney & District FA Premier Division with a 6-1 home win against Hailey.

A four-goal blitz in the first half all but sealed the win with Tony McLemen (2), Dave Craig, Kev Lewis, Ian Sparkes and Chris Hirons on target. Luke Manning replied.

West replaced Ducklington who beat second-placed Chipping Norton Town 3-1, with goals from Adam Clarke, Ryan Colleton and Damon Tolley. Michael Roberts got one back for Chippy.

Carterton Town A strolled to a 3-1 success away to Chadlington.

Jack Turner and Martin Plumbridge scored for the hosts, but goals from Jason Lonsdale (2) and Mike Bott secured the win for Town.

Minster Lovell picked up only their second victory of the season and boosted their hopes of Premier Division survival in the process with a surprise 3-2 success at Witney Royals.

Royals notched through Steve Brasier and a Gary Nicholson penalty, but goals from Jim Hearn, Simon Thompson and Chris Smith ensured Minster took the points. Hanborough drew 3-3 at home to Charlbury.

Dan Smith (2) and Neil Rose scored for the hosts, with Craig McCallum netting a hat-trickfor the visitors.

Second-placed Brize Nor-ton won 1-0 at Division 1 leaders Hailey Res, Pavel Bronk on target.

Bourton Rovers slipped to third after losing 2-1 at Eynsham SSC.

David Gainford scored for the hosts, but a brace from John Ayres won it for the visitors.

Promotion chasers Carterton Pumas crashed 2-1 against Spartan Rangers.

Frank Clarke and Rory Dunseath scored for the hosts, with Ryan Jones pulling one back for Pumas.

It’s tight at the foot of the table after bottom side Hanborough Res picked up their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory at home to Freeland.

Adi Williams scored for Freeland, but Joey Burgess (2) and a Tom Kernahan strike gave Hanborough the points.

Kingham smashed five without reply past North Leigh in a 5-0 win over their hosts. Dom Hemming (2), Gareth Price, Kurtis Akins, and Daryll Middleton netted.

Division 2 leaders Combe continued their march towards promotion with a 5-1 thrashing of Ducklington Res.

Chris Betreen hit a hat-trick, with Simon Gale and Sam Hibberd adding the others.

Pete Long scored the consolation for Ducklington.

Lee Keys grabbed a brace on his debut for Carterton Rangers in their 3-2 win over Witney Wanderers, moving them second in the process.

Ben Pearce added the other with Andrew Thompson and Bernie Crumlish hitting back for Wanderers.

A Craig Isle penalty was the difference between the sides as Carterton Town B saw off Ducklington 1-0, maintaining their nine-point lead at the top of Division 3.

Spartan Rangers Res stayed in second following a 6-0 thrashing of Kingham Res.

Ben Allen, Ben Hardcastle, Jason King and Gavin McCor-mack were among the goal-scorers.

Division 4 leaders Tower Hill were held to a 3-3 draw by FC Hollybush Res.

Jamie Goodwin gave the hosts the lead before goals from Kevin Davies, Doug Mulvihill and a Dean Spivey strike put Hollybush seemingly in command at 3-1.

Tower Hill levelled through Jesse Lawrence and Luke James, but despite constant pressure they couldn’t find a way past the visitors defence for the winner.
