Jay Johnson scored a double as Yarnton eased to a 2-0 win at Charlton United in Oxfordshire Senior League Division 1.
Freeland went down to a 2-0 defeat at Broughton & North Newington in the Premier Division.
They went behind on 17 minutes when Lewis Mitchell broke clear on goal before sliding the ball past the advancing keeper.
Mitchell doubled Broughton’s lead on 33 minutes with his second, charging forward from his own half and played a one-two with Laurence Caro before firing in from close range.
The visitors tried to get back into the game, but Broughton held firm.
A brace from Andy Glossop helped Eynsham Res to a 4-3 victory at North Oxford Res in Division 2.
Luke Peedell and Steve Dobson completed their tally, with Bratvic Maria, Ben Scrivener and Josh Bachelor on target.
Yarnton Res had to be satisfied with a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw at home to Oakley United Res.
Jamie Appleton put Yarnton ahead, only for Lawrence Foster to level for the visitors.
Bradley Newman gave Oakley the lead, but Appleton’s late strike – his second of the game – salvaged a point.
