Oxford United have unveiled their new away kit for the 2015-16 campaign.

The design is a return to the red and black stripes which were used in the mid-1990s.

In 1995-6 Denis Smith’s side won promotion to the second tier of the Football League wearing this away kit.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of that success the U’s will wear an updated, version of that strip, with Liontrust once again the front of shirt sponsors and Polythene UK.

It will be worn for the first time today, when the U’s play their final pre-season game, against Coventry City at Nuneaton.

Meanwhile, Oxford United have formed a new Legends Club at the Kassam Stadium, sponsored by Textures Flooring.

The Legends Club will be based in the Manor and Maurice Evans Lounges and United heroes Jeremy Charles, Steve Basham and Peter Rhoades-Brown will be on hand at each game to chat with fans and act as hosts.

For the opening league game against Crawley next Saturday, Milk Cup-winning keeper Alan Judge will act as host.
