OXFORD United are set to sign right-winger Gino van Kessel on loan, according to his parent club Slavia Prague.

In a story on the Czech Republic club’s official website, Slavia report the deal will include the potential for the U’s to turn it into a permanent deal for €900,000 (approximately £810,000).

The 24-year-old was born in the Netherlands and came through the youth ranks at AZ Alkmaar and Ajax.

He has since had spells playing in Slovakia, France and the Czech Republic, with his most recent spell coming on loan in Poland with Lechia Gdansk.
