NORTH Leigh return to action this weekend at home to high-flying Bideford after a ten-day break between games.

An early Buildbase FA Trophy exit meant John Brough’s men were left kicking their heels last weekend.

It prevented them from building on the 1-0 midweek success against Mangotsfield United at Eynsham Park, which ended their six-match winless run in all competitions.

George Seacole saw a second-minute header strike the far post and bounce clear in what was comfortably the hosts’ highlight of a scrappy first half.

A goalless draw looked on the cards as the second half began in similar fashion.

But the Millers broke the deadlock in the 65th minute, when Seacole beat his man on the right.

Although his shot was blocked, it fell perfectly for Dejon Noel-Williams to score from six yards.

The goal saw the game spark into life.

Mangotsfield’s best chance for an equaliser came eight minutes from time, but with only Manny Agboola to beat, Kane Simpson blasted his shot well over.
