FOOTBALL: Centenary celebrations
The Witney & District FA will celebrate their centenary at Witney United's Marriotts Stadium on Sunday, May 11.
The event will start at 1pm with Witney Town Band playing, as they did at the first Witney & District FA Cup final.
They will play until 2pm, when the first match for the Howe-Browne Trophy will be played.
This is a competition for the four remaining founder members of the league, Charlbury Town, Eynsham, Hanborough and North Leigh.
There will be two semi-finals, a third/fourth place play-off and a final.
There will also be an exhibition of memorabilia on the day, and at 6.30pm, the Fred Ford Memorial Cup final will take place.
Admission to the event is free.
