GIRLS FOOTBALL: Comeback in vain for Tower Hill

Tower Hill fought back to equalise from 2-0 down, only to lose 4-2 at home to Barton United in the Giles Sports Under 12 Youth League.

Ellie Gomersall and Mya Morris put Barton 2-0 up, but Abigail Beeriling’s double levelled matters.

But goals from Chelsea Engere and Chloe Duckett won it for the visitors.

Sinead Newman, Taylor Harris, Ellie Walecki were on target for Stonesfield Strikers as they beat Tower Hill 3-0 in the Under 10 League.

Goals from Mila Lewis and Martha French were in vain as Stonesfield lost 4-2 at home to Bardwell in the Under 14 League.

Beth Dutton, Maisie Berry, Melissa Sampson and Bonnie Daykin were the scorers.
