Mark Janes scored a hat-trick as Witney Town stormed into the third round of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup with a thumping 9-1 win at Oxfordshire Senior League outfit Marston Saints on Saturday.
The former Oxford City striker opened their account in style with two goals in a minute.
Nick Thorne and Yashwa Romeo then made it 4-2 all within the space of three minutes to leave Marston shell-shocked.
Janes completed his treble hat-trick on the half-hour before the hosts pulled one back through Paddy Cope.
However, a brace from former Oxford United youngster Conor McDonagh, which took his goals tally to 21 for the season, saw Witney charge into a 7-1 advantage at the break.
Thorne completed his brace in the second-half, before Josias Carbon completed the rout with his first goal of the season.
Witney will now host the winners of the Headington Amateurs v Kidlington tie which is scheduled to be played on December 1.
