FOOTBALL: Deadly Williams nets four-timer

Craig Williams bagged four goals as Carterton A hammered Great Milton 6-1 in the fourth round of the OFA John Fathers Junior Shield.

Dan Sollis and Luke Simmonds got their others.

West Witney saw off St Clements 4-1 , thanks to goals from Kevin Lewis, Dan Brierly, Dan King and Chris Hirons.

Aston Leach (2) and Tom Lewis earned Hanborough a 3-1 win at Rose Hill.

Chipping Norton crushed Wroxton Heath 4-0, with Warwick Thompkins (2), Mark Corbett and Rhys Warner-Carter doing the damage.

However, Aston crashed out following a 4-0 defeat by Bloxham.

The match was switched to Bloxham as Aston’s pitch was waterlogged.
