Former Witney Town forward Kynan Isaac has been urged to let his feet do the talking after a trial at Ipswich Town proved unsuccessful.
The pacy 20-year-old, who left to join Evo-Stik Southern League side Banbury United, spent ten days at the npower Championship side.
Last Monday, he played 84 minutes for their under 21 development side in a 2-1 win at Charlton Athletic, but was told Ipswich would not be pursuing their interest.
“Kynan’s technical ability is second to none. But the big problem is that he needs to be playing all the time to hone his skills,” said Banbury boss Edwin Stein.
“He was there ten days laying around and he lost his edge and sharpness because he wasn’t playing games.”
He added: “If he gets his head down and shows that desire in every game he plays, he is not going to have a problem.”
