YOUTH FOOTBALL: Deadly O'Brien hammers hat-trick for Bampton

Declan O’Brien hit a hat-trick as Bampton Town won 4-1 at Stonesfield Strikers in the Giles Sports Under 9 White Witney Youth League.

Regan Pritchard was their other marksman.

A goal from Casey Groves sealed a 1-0 success for Tower Hill at Charlbury Town Youth in the Knockout Cup.

Sam Britnell scored the winner for Tower Hill Stars in a 1-0 home success against Yarnton Blues in the Under 14 A League.

Charlbury Town Youth battled to a 3-2 win against Tower Hill Stars in the Under 13 A League.

Robert Vincent put Charlbury 1-0 up at half-time, but Jake Wyatt levelled.

Goals from Daniel Huddleston and Harry Mincer appeared to put Charlbury in control, but a late goal from Will Sharp set up a nervous finale.

Carterton Town Colts eased to a 3-0 win against Launton Boys in the B League, thanks to goals from George Meyer, a Jake Kelly penalty and a Danny Allsworth strike.

Josh Wilson and Luke Briggs were on target for Chipping Norton Town Swifts as they won 2-1 at Bampton Town in the B League. Charlie Ing had equalised.

Matthew Doran scored the equaliser for Stonesfield Strikers in a 1-1 draw at Witney Vikings Youth in the D League.

Taylor Cooper put the Vikings ahead in the second half with a free kick, before Doran sealed a share of the spoils, firing in after the home side failed to clear a corner.

Carterton Town edged to a 1-0 win at home to Deddington Town Colts Sharks in the Under 10 Green League.

The only goal came in the first half when Jay Haydon’s shot was deflected home by Josh Henry.
