Carla Garrison hammers in the opener from 18 yards for Tower Hill in their 2-1 defeat at Fleetland in Southern Women’s League Division 1
Tower Hill Ladies let slip the lead as they lost 2-1 at fourth-placed Fleetland in the Southern Women’s League Division 1 on Sunday.
It started so brightly for the visitors in Hampshire, taking an early lead and what a spectacular strike it was too.
Carla Garrison broke down the right wing before smashing the ball into the top left corner from 18 yards.
However, their celebrations had barely died down when Fleetland levelled after a mistake from keeper Mel Gilbert.
And it got worse before half time, when Fleetland went ahead.
Tower Hill tried to get back into the game after the break, but were unable to put away their chances.
On Sunday, Tower Hill entertain MK City.
