FOOTBALL: Woodstock gamble is a winner
Woodstock Wanderers switched their Critchleys UTV League Division 2 clash with Village Inn to Berinsfield – home of the Inn – and their initiative paid off handsomely.
In the only game to survive the drenched conditions, Woodstock emerged 2-1 winners, thanks to goals from Steve Foreman and Grant Getnor.
Wayne Boar replied for the home team.
