Jack Morton scored both goals as Ducklington eased to a 2-0 win at Carterton Town A in the Witney & District FA Premier Division.

The result saw them move to third in the table in a game that was one of only three to survive the wet weather.

Mo Semali, Kristian Collis and John Andrews were on target for Hailey Res as they moved six points clear at the top of Division 1 with a 3-1 victory against Spartan Ran-gers.

Matt Townsend pulled one back for the hosts.

Combe dropped their first points of the season in Div-ision 2 following a 2-2 draw against basement boys Wit-ney Royals Res.

Chris Betreen netted a double for Combe, but goals from Richard Sims and Liam Read-head secured the hosts a hard-fought point.

Meanwhile, goals from Chris Hirons, Kevin Lewis and Carl Williams were in vain as West Witney lost 5-3 after extra-time at Heyford Athletic.

Trailing 3-1 with ten minutes to go, it looked all over for the Witney.

However, the visitors sco-red two goals to force extra-time.

But the hosts progressed through an own goal, and strikes from Matthew Blenford (2) and Jon Crosthwaite (2).
