Kev Lewis and Tony McLemen completed the rout – a repeat of the scoreline from when the sides last met – with Perry Tinson replying.

The result saw West move four points clear of Chipping Norton Town who slipped to a 3-1 defeat at home to Charlbury Town, thanks to a treble from Craig McCallum. Warwick Thompkins hit back for the hosts.

Relegation-haunted Chadling-ton slumped 7-1 at home to Hanborough.

Martin Plumbridge scored for the hosts, but Hanborough ran riot with goals from Craig Johnson (2), Dan Smith, Aston Leach, Arron Hobley, Scott Akers and Neil Rose.

Minster Lovell stayed in trouble after a 2-1 defeat at Aston.

Jim Hearne scored for the visitors, but strikes from Dan Long and Graham Carter secured the points for Aston.

Brize Norton blew the Division 1 title race wide open on Saturday after a 2-0 home win over fellow title-chasers Bourton Rovers, thanks to efforts from Pawel Bronk and Matt Howard.

The hosts are now top by a point.

At the other end of the table, Spartan Rangers staged a brilliant second-half display to beat Eynsham 5-2 away from home.

Andy Stratford and Nathan Prestige struck to give the hosts a seemingly comfortable two-goal cushion, but goals from Frank Clarke (2), Josh Grant (2) and Matt Timms completed the turnaround.

Hanborough Res need a miracle to save them from the drop after going down 3-0 to FC Nomads, Chris Lawrence (2) and Dave Price the scorers.
