Chadlington's Dennis Souch is still putting in a shift in Division 4 of the Witney & District FA – at the ripe old age of 60.

The reserve team skipper has played for the club for coming up to 50 years, first putting on the club shirt at the age of 11.

As well as being their oldest player, he became their oldest scorer when he netted for the reserves in 2012, aged 58.

It is estimated he has played around 1500 games for the club and has also lifted every major trophy in the WDFA, winning the Oxfordshire Junior Shield three times and Oxfordshire Charity Cup.

Last season, Souch played every minute of every reserve game and was awarded manager’s player of the year award.

This season he has been ever-present.
