Carterton Rangers eased through to the third round of the OFA John Fathers Shield with a 7-2 thrashing of Eynsham SSC.

Holders Carterton had been minutes away from a 4-3 victory when the original tie was abandoned due to a serious injury last week, but made up for that disappointment in style.

Dan Hall hit four goals with further strikes from Billy Hales, Elliot Witt and Lee Keyes, while John Griffiths and John Ayres replied for the hosts.

Chris Lawrence smashed a five-timer and Dave Pryse also bagged a brace as FC Nomads won 7-2 at home to Kingham.

Ducklington trounced Bodicote Sports 6-0 away, witha double from Josh Hartley.

George Townsend, Dave Rabbich, Kevin Davies and Harry Cornforth sealed it.
