GIRLS FOOTBALL: Appleton bags a double
Rachel Appleton scored both goals as Stonesfield Stri-kers won 2-0 at home to struggling Kidlington in the Oxford Mail Girls Under 12 Blue League.
Tower Hill went down to a 2-1 defeat at Benson United in the Under 15 League.
Emily Soffe put the hosts ahead, but Mollie Farr (penalty) and Phoebe Parsons won it for the hosts.
