Tower Hill Ladies’ hopes of silverware were dashed when they bowed out of the Southern Region Women’s League Cup at the quarter-final stage.
They suffered a 5-0 defeat at home to Premier Division side Mansfield Road at West Witney Sports Club.
After a goalless first half, Mansfield went ahead three minutes after the break when Rachael Mariam netted.
Kim Cowan and Holly Bridge made it 3-0 before Mariam completed her double.
Claire Allsop then added to Tower Hill’s misery with Mansfield Road’s fifth.
On Sunday, Tower Hill host in Southern Region Women’s League Northern Division 1.
