Danny Taylor scored four times as Freeland thrashed Marston Saints 9-2 at home in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division on Saturday.

He was ably assisted by North Leigh winner Alfie Saunders, who helped himself to a hat-trick.

Conor Almond and Paul Inch completed the rout.

The result saw Freeland move to tenth in the table.

Tom Geaken’s treble inspired Freeland Res to a 5-2 success at North Oxford Res which moved them up to fourth place.

Adi Williams and Ethan Simlett completed their tally.

Jack Hinkin and Ben Shriviner were on target for the home side.

Danny Bone's second-half brace helped Old Woodstock Town to a 3-1 win at Burnham in Division 1 East of the Uhlsport Hellenic League.

Carterton were thrashed 6-1 at Lydney Town who go top of Division 1 West.

Woodstock Wanderers' Critchleys UTV League Devenney Cup third-round tie at home to New Club was abandoned on four minutes after the visitors' Richard Moffatt suffered a double fracture.

Unfortunately, no paramedics were available to attend, so Moffat'ts teammates took him to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford by car by his teammates.

The 27-year-old, who lives in Abingdon, will need an operation.
