HEYFORD Athletic were crowned Oxfordshire Junior Shield champions for the first time since 1953 after beating Spartan Rangers 3-1 in the final at North Leigh.
Matt Blenford struck twice and Shaun Burningham also scored to put Athletic into a three-goal first-half lead.
Josh Grant pulled a goal back for Spartans, but they were unable to force their way back into the game.
