WARWICK Tompkins hit a hat-trick as Charlbury Town won 3-0 at home to Eynsham SSC in the Witney & District FA Premier Division, writes Harry Rose.

Tompkins notched all three of his side’s goals against Eynsham, who have now conceded 21 goals without reply in their last three games.

Hanborough sit two points clear at the top after their 5-0 win at home to Hailey.

Jack Morton scored twice to take his tally for the season up to 11, Craig Johnson also scored two and Dan Haggie also found the net.

Shane Probitts struck twice but could not prevent Kirtlington’s 3-2 defeat at Carterton Town A.

Chris Herbert, Tommy Burns and Olly Bush grabbed a goal each for Carterton.

Witney Royals were 3-2 victors over Spartan Rangers, thanks to the Fernandes brothers.

Fabio Fernandes struck twice and Telmo Fernandes was also on target for Royals, with Charlie Waite and John Andrews replying.

Minster Lovell earned a 1-1 draw at Combe, thanks to Gary Mitchell’s effort. Charlie Ibbotson struck for the hosts.

Chris Laurence’s hat-trick inspired FC Nomads to their first victory since the opening day as they won 5-3 at home to Bampton United.

Charlie Nelson and Dan Craig also found the net for Nomads, while Nathan Beckett, Lloyd Hancock and Connor O’Shea were on target for the visitors.

Carterton Rangers moved up to second with a 3-1 win away at Milton.

Jim Littlewood’s fourth goal of the season was just a consolation for the hosts as Mikel Ryan scored twice and Matt Parry also netted for Rangers.

Steve Harries hit a hat-trick as FC Ascott won 6-1 at Brize Norton in Division 2.

Jack Sollis grabbed two and Callum Kirk also got on the scoresheet for Ascott, with Gezz Morgan netting the home side’s consolation.

Bletchingdon crashed out of the Fred Ford Cup in the second round as Division 1 side Aston inflicted a first defeat on their Division 3 hosts.

Vince Evans, Matt Smith and Ryan Lewis handed Aston a 3-1 victory, with Jimmy Deabill replying for the home side.

Chadlington defeated Middle Barton 4-1 thanks to a Matt Chadwick double and goals from Jarvis Morley and Ashley Scearce.
