DAVE Cross hit a spectacular four goals for Spartan Rangers in their 9-1 thrashing of Witney Royals in the Witney & District FA Premier Division, writes Harry Rose.

Jamie Timms, Charlie Harper, Kieren Watts, Henry Clarke and Matt Timms were also on target for Rangers, with James O’Sullivan hitting the away side’s consolation.

A Mike Bolt hat-trick helped Carterton Town A to an 8-0 hammering of visitors Hailey.

Wes Christian notched a brace and there were also goals for Rich Longford, Dave Wanless and Rob Marsh.

Division 1 leaders FC Hollybush made it 11 successive league wins with a 4-1 victory at home to second-placed Carterton Rangers.

Andrew Stone scored a penalty for the visitors, but a goal from Alan Rogers and three from Dan Bishop gave Hollybush all three points.

Lewis Colwell’s brace helped Stonesfield to a 4-2 home win over FC Nomads.

Tim Wyatt and Nick Clarke also scored for the hosts, while Josh Truby and Chris Laurence netted Nomads’ consolation efforts.

Tower Hill Stars moved up to second in Division 2, with an 8-4 win over Chipping Norton Town Res.

Yusef Okunade scored twice for the home side, alongside Tomask Dolezel and Rhys Warner-Carter goals.

But Stars won it courtesy of a brace each from Craig Mays, Adam Townsend and Darren Tasker as well as goals from Leigh Travers and Matty Claridge.

Hailey Res picked up their first league win since October with a 3-2 victory over Brize Norton.

Mo Semlali, Perry Tinson and Tom Gregory netted the decisive goals, while Haydn Parker and Olly Puddle were on target for Brize.

In Division 3, Frank Webb struck four times to take his tally for the season up to 23 when helping Corinthians to a 6-1 win at home to Witney Royals Res.

Daryl Wells bagged the other two, while Rob DeBanks struck Royals’ consolation.
