SAM Philpott hit a magnificent four goals to help Kingham All Blacks to an emphatic 6-0 home triumph over Milton in the Witney & District FA’s Junior Cup, writes HARRY ROSE.

Dom Hemmings netted Kingham’s other two as they eased into the second round.

Spartan Rangers Res edged into the next round with a narrow 5-4 victory over FC Nomads after extra time.

Chris Laurence netted twice and Rul Alves and James Hopkins also scored for Nomads.

But it was not enough as a Matt Townsend brace and goals from Jack Simpson, Gareth Thomas and Dec Stephens saw Spartan through.

Stonesfield booked their place in the next round with a convincing 5-1 home win over Witney Wanderers.

Gary Atkinson was on target for Wanderers but Rafa Rice’s double and goals from Bruce Wilson, Pete Searle and Paul Penney won it for the hosts.

Siege FC recorded a fifth successive victory with a 3-2 home triumph over Minster Lovell Res in the first round of the Supplementary Cup.

Aidan Foard and Leo Haines were on target for Minster but goals from Chris Bowles, Will Griffiths and Adam Maskey saw Siege prevail.

FC Mills crashed out of the cup to Division 3 side FC Hollybush Res, losing 3-2.

Ian Parks and James Rogers both scored for Mills, but Joe Hatt’s brace and an own goal saw Hollybush through.

Division 3 leaders Bletchington booked their place in the next round with a convincing 5-1 win at home to Kingham All Blacks Res.

Mark White and Jimmy Deabill grabbed a brace each and Loren Bushay also scored for the hosts, with Tom Matthews grabbing the consolation for Kingham.

George Ford hit a hat-trick as Milton Res thrashed hosts Eynsham SSC Res 7-2.

Stephen Pearce scored two and Will Collett and Dan Hooton were also on target, with Shaun Rowbotham and Lee Parsons scoring for the hosts.

In the Premier Division, leaders Charlbury Town stretched their advantage at the top to 13 points with a 5-0 thrashing of visiting Hailey.

Warwick Tompkins, Craig McCallum, Steve Hunt, Stefan Lang and Mark Goode were all on target.

Yusef Okunade’s brace helped Chipping Norton Town to a narrow 3-2 home triumph over Eynsham SSC.

Josh Hunt was also on target for the hosts, with John Ayres scoring both goals for Eynsham.

A Dav Cross hat-trick helped Spartan Rangers to a 4-2 success at Kirtlington.

Kieren Watts was also on target for Spartan, with Alex Metcalfe and Nathan Kelly replying for the hosts.

John Fletcher’s double gave Minster Lovell a 2-1 home win over Witney Royals, whose consolation came from Dan Townsend.

Nick Angus hit a hat-trick to help Aston Res to a 4-3 home win over Bampton United Res in Division 3.

Lee Beer also scored for the hosts, with Jake Pritchard and Conor O’Shea on target for Bampton.
