YOUTH FOOTBALL: Vixens edge to victory

Tower Hill Vixens edged to a 2-1 win at Kidlington in the Under 10 League.

After a goalless first half, Vixens took the lead when Leah Jordan-Cooper’s pass found Emma Bartlett, who looped a shot into the top corner.

However, Kidlington levelled through Hannah Forse.

A pass from Jade Wright set Millie Hartwell free and she cut inside before hitting the winner.

Stonesfield squeezed to a 1-0 win at Tower Hill Vixens in the Under 11 League.

They went ahead midway through the first half when Emma Parker found the net.

Vixens dominated the show after the break and were unlucky not to level when Isabelle Henthorn’s shot was adjudged not to have crossed the line.

A strike from Milly Foxcroft was in vain as Tower Hill Vixens went down to a 7-1 home defeat against Woodley in the Under 15 League.
