GIRLS FOOTBALL: Alder's brace seals victory

Jazzmin Alder bagged a brace as Tower Hill hit back from a goal down to beat Moretonville 3-1 in the Under 16 League.

Ellie Powles poked home a corner to put the visitors ahead, before Suzy Halsey slotted home the equaliser after chasing down a long ball.

Alder gave Tower Hill the lead with a calm finish before completing her brace with a shot into the corner to seal victory.

Carterton went down to a 4-0 defeat at Swindon Spitfires in the Under 13 League.

Chantelle Scott (2), Brooke Stead and Lucy Goodright did the damage for the hosts.

Stonesfield Strikers eased to a 2-0 triumph at Tower Hill in the Under 12 League.

Hannah Calvert fired them in front with a good run and shot and victory was sealed through Katie Appleton.

Rachel Appleton hit a double as Stonesfield Strikers edged to a 2-1 victory at Kidlington in the Under 10 League.

Kiera Rhodes gave Kidlington the lead.

Appleton levelled, before sealing her brace with a superb individual goal.
