The Chipping Norton-based Sean Walkinshaw Racing team are targeting its first win of the season when the BRDC Formula 4 campaign resumes at Brands Hatch this weekend.
They secured a superb podium finish in the second race of the year at Silverstone through Danish teenager Nicolas Beer.
The rookie goes into this weekend’s event seventh in the driver standings, within 21 points of the top three.
Teammate Jordan Albert secured a hat-trick of 13th place finishes and has the promise to be a consistent top-ten 10 runner at Brands Hatch as he strives to move up from 14th in the championship.
Venezuela’s Diego Borrelli, who is embarking on his first season in single-seaters with SWR this year, raced strongly on his UK debut and posted a best finish of 14th place.
“This weekend should be good, we’re all feeling very positive after such a strong start during the first three rounds at Silverstone”, said team owner Sean Walkinshaw.
“Nicolas did a fantastic job on his debut and displayed superb pace.
“Brands is another new challenge but we’re sure he can be in the fight for a win again.
“Jordan and Diego have less experience but at Silverstone they were both quick and definitely have potential.”
