DIDCOT Town fought back from 2-0 and 3-1 down to earn a 3-3 draw away to Bristol Manor Farm in the Evo-Stik South League West Division on Saturday.

With conditions not conducive to good football on Manor Farm’s sloping pitch, the hosts went ahead on the sixth minute when Kye Holly tapped home from close range.

The Railwaymen went close to equalising when Felipe Barcelos headed just wide.

Seth Humphries and Sam Elkins both hit the woodwork as Didcot continued to pile on the pressure.

However, they were hit with a sucker-punch just before the break as Dean Stamp beat Leigh Bedwell to give Farm a 2-0 lead.

Didcot deservedly pulled a goal back in the 54th minute when Barcelos scored from the penalty spot after his acrobatic shot was blocked by a hand.

Manor Farm restored their two-goal cushion as Stamp added a second, heading home a cross by Holly.

With seven minutes left, Didcot gave themselves a lifeline.

After George Reid was tripped in the box. Barcelos stepped up again and fired in his second penalty to make it 3-2.

And Didcot earned a point when Elkins headed home from a corner in the 88th minute.

Despite the late pressure, the Railwaymen were unable to find a winner and had to be content with a point.
