Witney Mills stayed top of Division 1 despite losing 4-2 to Banbury Central in the Oxford & District League, sponsored by Yarnton Nurseries.
Banbury’s four points were assured by Ian Whelpton’s rink 20-shot winning margin.
Carterton were whitewash-ed 6-0 by Shiplake.
In Division 2, West Witney won 5-1 away to Charlbury where, unusually, two rinks were tied.
Witney Town lost by a single shot at home to Oxford Bowls Club in Division 3.
Chadlington hit the century mark as they whitewashed Oxford University Press 6-0 in their Division 4 encounter.
