HOCKEY: Ricketts shines in win
Sunny Ricketts scored a hat-trick as Witney Ladies continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 7-0 victory over Maidenhead in Division 3A of the South Clubs League.
Witney broke the deadlock when Helen Backhouse netted with a reverse-stick shot, while Ricketts added two more goals before half-time.
Ricketts sealed her hat-trick, with Hayley Dobson, Katie Gatt and Lucy Reading completing the rout.
In South League Division 2, Witney Men lost 1-0 at Aylesbury, after a nightmare journey delayed by a road accident.
