Carterton Gymnastic Veterans’ club professional Kate Dela was second in the over 30’s age group in the British Championships at Lilleshall National Sports Centre at the weekend.
Teammate Angela Bywater was sixth overall and ninth in tumbling, while Angela Oliver was seventh overall and third in tumbling.
Competing in the over 18 category, Laura Trafford was seventh overall and fourth in tumbling, while teammate and fellow professional Georgina Money finished ninth overall.
Colin Rigby was second in the over 50s and first in the tumbling, while fellow novice gymnast Angela Money was sixth overall and sixth in the tumbling in the over 40s class.
Claire Granville finished fourth overall and fourth in tumbling. It is the first competition the team, who are sponsored by ABC Oxford Limited, have entered, having only been formed since January this year.
