HOCKEY: Injuries hit hosts bid
Injury-ravaged Witney had to settle for a 2-2 draw at home to Oxford Hawks 3rd in Regional 2.
Skipper Andy Gosnell, who had to leave the pitch, and Phil Allen, who hobbled on, suffered leg injuries to hit Witney’s bid.
The hosts twice led through Steve Beach and Harry Swift, but Hawks hit back to equalise through a brace from Chris Burnag.
