Woodstock's Natalia Mitchell and playing partner Louise Atkins (Drayton) won silver medals at the Warwick U17 Bronze tournament.
Earlier, they beat four pairs, including second seeds Freya Lock-Pullen and Joan-na Gresty (Glous) 21-9.
The Oxon duo defe-atedWarwickshire’s Natasha Killian and Eleanor Tomkins 21-11 in the semi-finals, but lost 21-17 to No 1 seeds Jodie Teale (Surrey) & Rebecca Holt (Berk-shire) in the final.
Both girls, who train at Oxfordshire’s Perfor-mance Centre, also reached the quarter-finals of the singles competition.
Last week, Mitchell struck gold in the singles of the girls competition in the latest round of Bronze tournaments.
It followed her 21-17 victory over Buckingh-amshire’s Rosia Li.
Mitchell then combined with Hannah Craig (Sutton Court-enay) to take bronze in the doubles.
Mitchell also won the silver medal in the singles an an under 17 tournament in Worc-ester.
The Woodstock player lost 21-19 in a tense final against Wilts-hire’s Lauren Chitt-enden.
