Eight-year-old Alysha-Paris Godfrey was celebrating after striking gold and silver at the Tradional Karate Federation national championships in Essex.
Godfrey, who competed in the 8-9 year old female category, won gold in kumite and silver in kata.
Her Windrush clubmate Elisabetta Mainwaring, 14, struck gold in kata in her age group and bronze in kumite to complete a highly satisfactory tournament.
Both girls train at the Batt School in Witney under the watchful eye of their chief instructor Sensei Ben Solomon and senior coach Benn Godfrey.
