Cameron Tweedle, a student in year 11 at Burford School, has moved one step closer to his dream of competing in the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Tweedle, an outstanding yachtsman, performed impressively in the Olympic National rankers off Hayling Island in November.
He showed considerable maturity and skill to improve through the four races in the competition after finishing a creditable ninth in the first event.
Tweedle is now challenging for a place in the Olympic development squad, the best of whom will be selected to train for Rio 2016.
