Witney men’s struggles in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Regional 2 continued as they went down to a 6-0 defeat at home to West Hampstead 2nd.
Ben Moss came close to slotting a couple home for Witney, but the well-drilled visitors prevailed with ease by scoring on the break.
The result saw Witney stay rooted at the bottom of the table, nine points from safety.
Witney 2nd eased to a 2-0 win at Sonning 4th in Division 4, with all the goals coming early in the first half.
After a slow start, Witney soon found their rhythm and they soon broke the deadlock when Sam Hook charged forward before firing home with a super finish.
The lead was doubled soon afterwards, a Sonning player blocked the ball on the line and Steve Trivett fired the resulting penalty flick past the keeper with a cool finish.
Witney tried to add to their tally after the break, but they lacked the precision of the first half.
Witney 3rd lost 1-0 at home to Wycombe in Division 5.
The only goal came five minutes in.
