BADMINTON: Henry Box fall at the final hurdle in Surrey finale
Henry Box School’s year 11 boys badminton team finished runners-up in the South East Regional Under 16 competition at the Center Parcs Schools tournament at Surrey University.
The team of Ben Roberts (Brize Norton), Ben Evans, Eliot Heritage, Thomas Hayes (all Witney), Oliver Mersh (Curbridge) played three matches in the preliminary round, seeing off the challenge of schools from Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.
Henry Box then defeated Berkshire to make the last two, where they went down in the final to the Buckinghamshire's schools champions.
