Brize Jets won promotion to South Region Division 2 via the playoffs after beating Guernsey Panthers at Surrey Sports Park.
Last season, Jets failed to go up after losing in the play-offs, but they made no mistake this time around.
Playing in a round-robin contest, they got off to a flier by hammering Oxford Trinity 41-16 and then saw off Sussex MSN after a tense finale.
Trailing 32-29 with time running out, it was not looking good for Brize, but with 20 seconds left, they levelled before scoring a last-gasp winner for a 33-32 success.
They then secured promotion by thrashing Panthers, who finished third in their league, 34-18, in their final game.
