Carterton’s Division 1 title bid suffered a blow in a 4-2 defeat by Headington in the Oxfordshire League, sponsored by Bridle Insurance.
West Witney beat Bicester 5-1 to lift their escape bid.
Division 2 leaders Witney Mills saw off Charlbury Witney Mills 4½-1½.
In Division 3, table-toppers Witney Town inflicted Headington B’s biggest league loss, by 52 shots, in a 5-1 win.
Chadlington had a shock 4-2 win at Banbury Chestnuts.
Hanborough lifted their Division 4 promotion hopes with a 5-1 win at South Oxford.
Their 121-shot total is the largest in the league this year, while Ken Williams’s 50-shot winning margin is the best in the league’s history.
