Paul Dew smashed the 11-hour barrier with a fine showing at Ironman Zurich.
The Bampton-based athlete finished fourth and was the top British competitor in the 18-24-year-old men’s category, with a combined time of 10hrs 45mins 57sec.
Dew clocked 1.05.29 for his 1.2-mile swim, 5.44.53 for the 112-mile bike and 3.47.47 for the 26.2-mile run.
