WITNEY scored their first South League win since November 2014 when they won 3-1 at home to Sonning 2nd in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1 on Saturday Scott Beach scored with a drag flick from a short corner to give Witney a half-time lead.
Ben Moss made it 2-0 with a great reverse push.
Sonning pulled a goal back ten minutes from time to set up a tense finish for the hosts.
However, Moss eased Witney’s worries by netting his second from close range.
