Chipping Norton BC are looking forward to improving their facilities after receiving a grant of £75,000 from Sports England.
The grant will help to towards the work involved in creating a two-way viewing gallery and the replacement of the indoor carpet and refurbishment of the rink at Burford Road.
At the club’s annual meeting, president Tony Backer Holst said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank our local MP and Prime Minister David Cameron for supporting our application.”
During the year, Chipping Norton’s Martin Shepherd won the Oxfordshire indoor singles title.
